Change

Why managing change is important

Change – our only constant

In today’s workplace, change is inevitable.

It is rare for organisations not to have to undergo a change that fundamentally shifts individual ways of working and changes the operation of the business.

There are many causes for change; responding to technology change, market maturation, wider macroeconomic environment or current global change (as with COVID-19).

Regardless of the cause, change is a constant and, for successful change, understanding of the dynamics of change and strong leadership is key.

What JLDS can do?

  • Help you understand the health of your organisational ‘change muscle’ – help you to define and develop change skills and awareness in individuals and leaders
  • Develop and coach practical change tools – help individuals to understand their response to change, and over time become change resilient.
  • Change workshops with senior leaders – let me help you get to the heart of the change and understand what that means for people (with and without the use of Psychometric tools such as Mental Toughness Questionnaire)

Testimonials

“Juliet had the challenge of rebuilding both a service and a team within Learning and Development at NHS BW. Having achieved this, she then had to prepare them to be transferred to a new Organisation where change awaited them. However, her experience and knowledge of both change management and L&D functions meant that this was achieved in a totally professional manner; ensuring vital work continued and staff felt supported and informed.”
